About The Dominion | San Antonio
The Dominion is a prestigious master-planned golf club community located on roughly 1,500 acres in Northwest San Antonio in the 78258 zip code. The land was owned by Anson Jones, the former president of the Texas Republic, and was developed in the early 1980's. Homes vary in size from garden homes to large estates.
The neighborhood features two 24-hour and one 12-hour manned and gated security stations, which are further enhanced by professional guards conducting round-the–clock mobile patrols; a world-class 18-hole golf course designed by Bill Johnston; and, the club features a wide-variety of amenities for its members.
Nearby supercenters of La Cantera and The Rim boast a full range of retail offerings and entertainment venues, and feature an abundance of restaurants. Residents of The Dominion are served by the Northside Independent School District with private and charter school options in the area.
